RAVERS MANIFESTO
OUR EMOTIONAL STATE IS ECSTACY, OUR NOURISHMENT OF CHOICE IS LOVE, OUR ADDICTION IS TECHNOLIGY, OUR RELIGION IS MUSIC. OUR CURRENCY OF CHOICE IS KNOWLEDGE. OUR POLITICS ARE NONE. OUR SOCIETY OF CHOICE IS UTOPIA, THOUGH WE KNOW IT WILL NEVER BE.
YOU MAY HATE US, DISMISS US OR MISUNDERSTAND US, YOU MAY BE UNAWARE OF OUR EXISTANCE. PLEASE DO NOT JUDGE US, AS WE DO NOT JUDGE YOU. WE ARE NOT CRIMINALS, NOR DRUG ADDICTS.
WE WERE FIRST DRAWN BY THE SOUND, FROM FAR AWAY, THE THUNDEROUS, MUFFLED, ECHOING BEAT THAT WAS COMPARABLE TO A MOTHERS HEART BEAT. IN THE HEAT, DAMPNESS AND DARKNESS WE ACCEPT WE ARE ALL EQUAL. NOT ONLY TO THE DARKNESS AND TO OURSELVES, BUT TO THE VERY MUSIC SLAMMING INTO US AND PASSING THROUGH OUR SOULS. AND SOMEWHERE AROUND 35HZ WE COULD FEEL THE HAND OF GOD AT OUR BACKS, PUSHING US FOWARD, PUSHING US TO PUSH OURSELVES TO STRENGHEN OUR MINDS, BODIES AND SPIRITS. PUSHING US TO TURN TO THE PERSON BESIDES US TO JOIN HANDS AND UPLIFT THEM BY SHARING THE JOY.
CREATING THIS MAGICAL BUBBLE THAT CAN, FOR ONE NIGHT, PROTECT US FROM THE HORRORS, ATROCITIES AND POLLUTION OF THE OUTSIDE WORLD.
WE SEEK TO RELINQUISH OUR INHIBITIONS, AND FREE OURSELVES FROM THE SHACKLES AND RESTRIANTS YOUVE PUT UPON US FOR OUR OWN PIECE OF MIND. WE SEEK TO REWRITE THE PROGRAMMING.
WE DANCE FIERCELY WITH OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN A CELEBRATION OF LIFE, OF OUR CULTURE AND VALUES. PEACE, LOVE, FREEDOM, UNITY, HARMONY, TOLERANCE, EXPRESSION, RESPONSIBILITY AND RESPECT.
OUR ENEMY OF CHOICE IS IGNORANCE. OUR WEAPON, INFORMATION.

disengaged from every battle as I raise my white flag/
Ill just stand here on the corner and spark up a fag/

LITTLE JIMMY
little Jimmy's had a hard life and he's wrong in the head/
he's seventeen years old and still pisses the bed/
he's got nunchucks in his cupboard that his mum lets him keep/
his old man will smash his face in when he changes his sheets/
no-one made him go to school so he aint that bright/
and every time he went he'd always get in a fight/
lots of parents shrug there shoulders when push comes to shove/
but why give life to someone who you cant show love!!!
PET HATES
theres a lot of things in life that get under my skin/
like being stuck behind a tractor and he wont pull in/
people tell me keep my head down and be discrete/
but he's pissed and misseed the target and he aint wiped the seat/
the rubix cube is murder Ive been on it for years/
when some prick does it in seconds it brings me to tears/
my pet hates Ive got to live with and the list aint long/
but you'll die for talking loud when Neighbours is on!!!
SCROUNGER
so your stacking shelves at Tesco, 16 hours a week/
you owe lots of people money so your up shit creek/
last night the debt collecters took your telly away/
so your pissed off cos you missed eastenders today/
so you go down to the pub with just a fiver to spare/
but your mates all shout your bevvy so you dont care/
theyre all calling you a scrounger with a bad attitude/
but you have no aspirations so your life is all good!!!

I want to be a rockstar driving in a fancy car/
show the world my middle finger while I smash my guitar/
live my life like I dont give a fuck and talk real loud/
shag a groupie, do a show then pick a fight with the crowd/
I could overdose on drugs and not care if I live or die/
if your looking at me funny youll get spit in your eye/
on a path of self destruction, living reckless is my goal/
before the time Im 40 Ill be signed on the dole!!
MY WAY
Ive done everything my own way and theres no one to thank/
hardcore music is my engine and theres fuel in the tank/
I appeal to all the masses with something for everyone/
my entertainment factor is second to none/
from a very early age I dreamt of being an MC/
looking up to old skool legends just like Ribbz and Charlie B/
now Im building up my fan base and it grows every day/
when Im done Ill look back knowing that I did it my way!!
WALK THE LINE
I might have a perfect body but theres torture in my soul/
its the changing of the seasons as my days turn cold/
someone lead me into reason and relieve my stress/
Ive paid shitloads for a haircut but my head is a mess/
I could live with being blind but then theres things I dread to hear/
when you get attatched to someone they soon dissappear/
I would walk the line for happiness but will it arrive/
