This is all that stands between us and greatness!
I don't know what to say really.
A few hours till the biggest battle of this year.
It all comes down to today.
Now either we heal as a team, or we're gonna crumble.
Inch by inch, play by play, till we're finished.
We're in a hole right now, girls.
Believe me.
And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light.
We can climb out of hell.
One inch at a time.
Now we can't do it for you.
We look around, We see these young faces, and we think... that’s potential, that’s drive, that determination.
You know when you get old in life, things get taken from you. That's part of life.
But you only learn that when you start losing stuff.
You find out life's this game of inches.
And so is Camogie.
Because in either game, life or Camogie, the margin for error is so small.
I mean... one half a step too late or too early and you don't quite make it.
One half second too slow too fast, you don't quite catch it.
The inches we need are everywhere around us.
They are in every break of the game, every minute, every second.
On this team, we fight for that inch.
On this team, we tear ourselves and everyone else around us to pieces for that inch.
We claw with our fingernails for that inch.
Because we know when we add up all those inches, that's gonna make the f**king difference between winning and losing!
Between living and dying!
I'll tell you this - in any fight, its the girl whose willing to die who's gonna win that inch.
And we know if we’re going to have any success anymore, it's because we’re still willing to fight and die for that inch.
Because that's what living is!
The 6 inches in front of your face...
Now we can't make you do it.
You've got to look at the girl next to you, look into her eyes.
Now we think you're gonna see a girl who will go that inch with you. You're gonna see a girl who will sacrifice herself for this team, because she knows when it comes down to it, you're gonna do the same for her.
That's a team, girls.
And either we heal, now, as a team, or we will die, as individuals. That's Camogie, girls.
That's all it is.
Now, what are you going to do?

Hogan Stand Junior Final Report
Creggan are the junior camogie champions
07 September 2006
Creggan put in a storming second-half to claim the Antrim junior camogie championship title when they defeated a fancied Portglenone side on Tuesday, 5th of September by 4-13 to 2-9.
This was a very exciting game from start to finish with the Geraldines very much on target for success when they led at the break by one point with Cathriona Hasson, Louise and Katie McAleese, Eimear Donaghy, Aileen Kearney and Jane Carey all to the fore.
However, it was the Creggan side who upped their game in the second-half and showing great commitment they staged a great comeback and won the game convincingly in the end. For the winners Claire Laverty was outstanding in the midfield sector, while players such as Sinead Laverty, Shannon Graham, Cathy Carey and Eimear Laverty gave the Portglenone defence a torrid time in the second-half.
A great win for the Creggan side, and their second-half comeback will be talked about for years to come.
COME ON CREGGAN! :-)

Say this B4 every game!!
*A CAMOG'S PRAYER!!*
Give me o Lord a camog’s skill
With strength of arm and speed of limb
Unerring eye for the flying ball
And courage to match them whatever befall
May my aim be steady - my stroke be true
My actions brave - my misses few
And no matter what way the game may go
May I part in friendship with every foe
When the final whistle for me is blown
And I stand at last at Gods Judgement Throne
May the great Referee when she calls my name Say...
“You played with courage - You played the game!”
Amen
