We are a venue, we love music, partying, and all that goes wth it!

On Friday nights we have a good mix of 3-5 bands/acts to entertain you with their musical stylings and its (usualy..unless it sais otherwise) Free entry...

Saturday nights we are looking to make into PARTY night!! it could be a school disco night, a hardcore night or one of our awesome resident bands doing an extended set :-) These events will usualy be ticketed and costs will vary from really cheap...to cheap ;-)

So, yeh, come and check us out, listings and upcoming events will be listed in the venue, on the bebo and myspace....so you know whats goin on!

70 Dumbarton Road, Clydebank, is now part of the Cosmopol Group & will be trading under the name 'Cosmopol Clydebank'. Our base in Glasgow is fast becoming known as one of the best gigs in town & we aim to spread the same good vibes in Clydebank )

Any acts or bands who have played in Cosmopol Glasgow already know the way we roll. It's all about the music and helping to make your gig a hassle free experience. For all our new friends who are reading this, here's all the information you might need:

I’d like to make sure that you understand our ethos at both Cosmopol venues ) We’re a company run by young musicians, we care about the music and you’ll love playing gigs with us.. We don’t care for the ‘pay to play’ cancer of this fair town.

I've been in bands & fighting the 'pay to play' thing in Glasgow for over 10 years. I can assure you, there is no greedy promoters in the Cosmopol team ) my background as a promoter is organic & from the free entry acoustic scene, check out the Southside Sessions page for more info...




GIGS AT COSMOPOL CLYDEBANK:

The band nights in Cosmopol Clydebank are FREE ENTRY its simple..
We set up a top gig in a 300 capacity venue without asking you to sell tickets to your mates. If you are in for the live music, you will GET FREE ENTRY TO THE CLUB :-)

PA, Stage backline, engineer, PR staff, box office, bar staff, security, posters, flyers, listings, Host to make your ngiht go smoothly, free beers for every player (after you have played) etc, all supplied to make the nights possible, all we ask is that you spread the word n bring along a few friends/fans to make each night work )
