- Colin MacIntyre, AKA Mull Historical Society, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, has released 3 albums under the ‘Mull’ pseudonym : ‘Loss’(2001), ‘Us’(2003) & ‘This Is Hope’(2004). “Loss” went on to receive tremendous critical acclaim and many “albums of the year” polls and is nearing 100,000 sales in the UK alone. In just a year, Colin went from supporting The Strokes on their debut UK tour to selling-out the 2000 capacity Shepherds Bush Empire, and touring with REM. Colin has dropped the ‘MHS’ moniker and released his 4th album ‘The Water’ under his own name in ’08. The Guardian called it 'Pop perfection', and the NME said 'All hail Colin!' So far Colin has achieved 4 Top 40 Chart hits, and 2 Top 20 albums, and has toured the U.K., Europe and the U.S.A. A songwriting junkie, oblivious to passing trends, he has become more than just Mull's local hero. Hi Colin, the new album is waiting for me at home, which i'll be returning to when I finish a 3000 word essay tomorrow! The album is my treat for getting it completed. The last 3 and a bit years without a Macintyre album have been long, but I'm sure its been worth the wait!!! Can you please please, tour England, especially Manchester!!!!!!
