Tarantino an overrated "basterd"?

Usually we refrain from bitching about filmmakers other than Guy Ritchie who deserves it, but having watched Death Proof this weekend you just have to ask is Tarantino even more over-rated? No one calls Ritchie a genius after all.0 Replys 35 weeks
Did anyone out there enjoy Death Proof? Anyone really think Quentin is a genius or just a guy who wrapped up some stolen ideas and beginners luck to do Reservoir Dogs? -

Hi guys. My short film "Broken Things" is now screening in the Babelgum Online Film Festival, and I'm trying to get people to watch and vote for it.
The film has won a bunch of awards at other film festivals. It's about a young boy whose love for the piano offers escape from his parents disintegrating marriage. It's tragic, but funny at the same time. You can see a trailer on my profile.
