Choice Music Prize
Hey friends,
The other day was a day we'll not soon forget.
Sitting in an airport having just arrived in Germany on a few days downtime, (we don't get many of those these days!) we got a phone call to say that we'd been nominated for the always-prestigious Choice Prize this year!
- Much to our surprise and elation, in what caps off a really busy and at times frustratingly stressful but ultimately fun year in 2009 for us.
Looking back at where we were a year ago, having just recorded the album off our own back, and doubting if we'd ever find a way to get our music to people, this is another really affirming accolade for us and we're honored to be included in this years list of musicians, some of whom we've grown up listening to.
We're ecstatic, and really looking forward to the Choice event itself in Vicar Street on March 3rd, where we'll be performing on the night along the other finalists. (Tickets €27 from ticketmaster.ie now on sale) Do come and show your support, we'd love to see you there.
Get out those fancy shoes.
