- I was born in the road racing capital of the world in the year Elvis Presley died. I grew up listening to my Dad’s music and dreaming of being an actress. The acting thing didn’t work out, but being born a noisy girl with the affliction of a sensitive soul, there had to be an outlet. I started writing poetry in my teens (don’t we all?) and progressed to songs in my early 20’s. My first complete song (Sunday Sundown) came in a flash of inspiration despite my complete lack of musical ability. So I went out and I bought me a gee-taw, a beautiful blue Tanglewood by the name of Louis. He and I have whiled away many a night, wondering where it all went wrong, who made it right and when oh when would we ever learn?
After 10 years in Bolton, I have come home to the Isle of Man. A beautiful and magical place where people believe in Faeries, the sea is never too far away and my drinking is considered perfectly reasonable. Deep joy!

Just a very quick update to let you know that the very lovely Postcode have invited me to support them at their album launch at The Traf this Friday. It would be lovely to see you there if you can make it *bats eyelashes*
Since a little over a week ago the Indigo family has grown to include my new baby creation - Flying. He's brand new and his first words were a demand to be put on the album with the others, so that's where he is. Never let it be said that my kids don't get their own way
Flying is a song about how struggly life can feel sometimes and how, just when you're right in the middle of the struggliest bit (if you're very very lucky and all the stars are aligned) then you meet a someone who makes it all seem easy. Cos they're amazing and stuff and they think you're amazing too and they do ace things like play guitar and build your Kinder Egg toys for you *ahem* That's enough sharing for one day eh?
Come to the gig (thank you please), drink Jack Daniel's (but don't try and keep up with me, you will only fail) and get in amongst the Postcode crew as they launch ZebraLand. Kids? I can't frickin WAIT!

New Tuneage on MySpace

Thought I'd tell you Beboites about this on here cos I've got more friends here than on my official page.... *hint hint*
There is now - upon a request from Dani - a demo of Love You from my album Indigo on my MySpace. This is the last song I wrote for the album, it got born inside my head a few weeks after we started production and I was compelled to grovel to my producer and ask if we could (purlease!) sneak it on as a last minuter. I'm glad we did because it's such a cute summery song and people say nice things about it and they think that I am nice when I sing it. I'm not though. I'm horrible I really do take honey in my coffee though.......

Giggage...I'm not yet 16...and the thing is I look about 12 so I get chucked out but will be 16 on Sunday so shall then be allowed anyway! Ha! Just have to take ID incase from then on lol. I'll be able to go to lots now cause my parents dont mind taking me now everywhere's smoke free...although they dont like staying late...but you know..I have a buddy that lives in Fistard *Nudge Nudge*.... *Wink Wink* lol
