My Lifestory

close About Me

Me, Myself, and I
Hi, I’m Chris and I work as a Sports Technologist for adidas. I specialise in developing “ovoid” balls, which is basically any sports ball that isn’t round (like rugby balls).

I work closely with athletes, trying to figure out the best designs for maximum performance. No day is ever quite the same, and I get to meet a lot of interesting people along the way. I’d recommend my job to anyone interested in science, maths and of course sports!

Any comments? I will try and get back to you in a few days.

    Hi Chris!

I was just wandering if sports technology includes work in designing football boots and footballs. If so, do you work closely with the designers? What skills do people need to design sports equipment?

    Thanks a bunch! :)
