Welcome to Causies Cross Guest House in Moniaive!
Me, Myself, and I
Causies Cross Guest House is set in the heart of the historic, picturesque village of Moniaive in upper Nithsdale opposite the Mercat Cross.

It's the ideal location for sightseeing, shooting, golf, mountain biking, walking in the surrounding hills or on the Southern Upland Way. Close by you can enjoy one of the oldest pubs in Scotland and great food in the local hotels and restaraunts....as well as an amazing full Scottish breakfast included in the tarrif at Causies Cross!

Moniaive has been described as "one of the coolest villages in Britain" in the Times newspaper and hosts many village events including the Folk Festival, Horse Show, Gala Day, Barn Dance, Flower Show and Comedy Festival.

Causies Cross is run by Wendy and Derek and has four bedrooms - one with ground floor access. All have wall mounted TVs with DVD. We have a drying room and freezer space for fishing catches and can offer picnic lunches and great hospitality.

Hope to see you soon.
