  • Design competition winner's t-shirt now on sale

Show your support for Breast Cancer Awareness with an exclusive skinny fit t-shirt featuring the MySpace competition winning design by an aspiring young fashion designer Katie Christian.

Katie, a 25-year-old shop assistant from South Wales, beat off competition from thousands of other entrants to an online t-shirt design contest run by Cancer Research UK and the MySpace Impact Channel.

Katie’s winning motif - which encourages women to be breast aware - was inspired by the loss of her mother to cancer. Nearly 500 users of MySpace voted for Katie’s design.

You can buy the t-shirt now for only £9.99 on the Cancer Research UK online shop at

The Cheer Fit Cheerleaders were honoured to be invited to cheer on runners raising money for Cancer Research at Relay for Life Battersea last September and are very much looking for to cheering at Relay for Life Wimbledon this summer. We thought you might like to know that a photo taken at the Battersea event has just been selected for the Schmap London Guide, and will come up whenever anyone clicks on Battersea Park. We hope this generates positive publicity for Cancer Research UK http://www.schmap.com/london/sight

Can I just say what a brilliant job hospices do for sufferers of cancer? When my dad had it he had to stay at St Richard's for his last few days, and the staff there were simply amazing. Until we find a cure, it's things like that that do help.
