- Caine is not only a rapper but an entrepreneur from Vancity that capitalized on hustling. Teaming up with The Game's official DJ, Nu Jerzey Devil, Caine plans on releasing, 'The Real Deal,' a mixtape that will reach everyone from the streets to the internet. By having local to international features and production, fans will appreciate CD giveaways live at concerts to purchasing mp3's online. While on his grind in 2005, Caine formed a group with two other artists called 778. Club promoters and labels were in shock of the immediate success. Doing shows at nearly every hip-hop venue in Vancouver and by selling thousands of mixtapes, Caine was recognized by Joe Budden's partner, DJ On Point, and was asked to do a solo mixtape named, 'Choose Up.' This created a huge buzz across the U.S. and Canada. Caine started to receive hundreds of email's and phone calls for cameo's in music videos, collaborations and interviews.

INTERVIEW WITH HIP-HOPKINGS.COM
HHK: Thank you for speaking to Hip-HopKings.Com. For those who haven't heard, can we have a brief introduction to Caine?
Caine: An intelligent hustler. I rhyme words because I like to and to make profit. I got my name from the main character in the classic movie, Menace 2 Society. I also happen to be friends with the actor who played one of Caine's best friends in the film, and who's brother actually wrote the movie, Rylow Williams. I see you big homie!
HHK: You've already got an impressive resume in regards to your live performances and guest spots. How have you managed to achieve this at such a young age?
Caine: Before I started rapping I was already living the fast life. I get things done efficiently and I stay very organized. So when I transfered that mind-state into the music industry, it really gave me an edge. To me it's like sports..... you got players that are 20 years old agianst players that are 40 years old. Either way all of them want that championship and good stats. Regardless of age, the winners are gonna walk away with the bigger cheque's.
HHK: Success is something that is becoming quite natural to you. How did your initial collaboration with DJ On Point come about?
Caine: When I started recording my first solo mixtape, I was doing shows and networking powerfully. Once me and DJ On Point started talkin, I let him hear my tracks and he responded right away. Then we linked the project.... After that, all you could hear people sayin in the club, in the streets and on the internet was 'Choose Up'! It was a major compliment for him to take interest in me because before that, his main focuses were guys like Joe Buddens and the late Stack Bundlez...R.I.P. to the underground legend.
HHK: The collaboration with DJ On Point was a mixtape called 'Choose Up'. It was distributed all over Canada and the U.S. How happy were you with the overall project?
Caine: I wouldn't be in the position I'm in now if it wasn't for that disc. It made me one of the first artists (other than Belly working alongside DJ Kay Slay), from Canada to cross over into the American mixtape scene that heavily. Now I see it becoming more of a trend. BIG SHOUTOUT TO MY DUDE, DJ ON POINT!
HHK: You have a huge stage presence too. How important do you feel putting a good performance at a show is, and secondly what has been your favourite venue to perform at?
Caine: I think it is really key to be comfortable and having fun when your on stage or infront of a camera. If you don't like doing that, then you're gonna be limited to the amount of money you can make from music. My goal is to do a show in every major city internationally, but when it comes down to it, it's Van City. The best feeling is doing concerts in Vancouver because the people there saw me come up since I was born, in the late 80's.
HHK: You also recently hooked up with The Game's official DJ 'Nu Jerzey Devil'. That's a very big affiliation – how did you manage to hook up with him?
Caine: Well... when you reach a leval where taking airplane flights is like catchin the bus, you start to meet alot of people. Blackwallstreet's doin it big all over the Westside, and I'm makin the most noise in the Northwest... I feel like I'm the hottest unsigned rapper on the Westcoast and he's the best DJ in the West, it only made sence to collaborate.
HHK: You have plans to release 'The Real Deal' mixtape. How is that coming along? And are there any plans for any guest appearances on the mixtape?
Caine: Make sure you look out for that, it's got some bangers on there for sure. So far it's featuring Noid, Dr. Feel Good, Compton's Bandana Tha Ragg and I got my own artist, Young Stretch on some tracks... Oh yea, I got another song with one of DJ Khaled's prospects AG Tha Hustler from Florida on there too. It's definately gonna be on another leval and of course it's hosted by Nu Jerzey Devil.
