The Americans should destroy these enemy-controlled satellites with missiles. NOW! To win in Iraq, the USA and allies must use our superior military technology. Perversely, however, the USA is currently SELLING arms to Arab regimes whose TV is against us. Such "enemy" regimes should be deprived of the technology of warfare such as TV. It is poor military strategy for the USA to sacrifice as many soldiers as the enemy does. The USA can win in Iraq by stopping satellite TV recruitment of terrorists. It is better to sacrifice their satellites in space than to sacrifice our soldiers in Iraq. Instead of confronting regimes like the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Bush administration has been appeasing them. President Bush wants to sell them more arms when they cannot be trusted even with satellites. As the Star Trek character Commander Scott might have said - It's "war", Captain, but not as we know it.
