Volunteers and Sponsors are urgently requested to give assistance or sponsor community projects now being introduced for the Monifieth Community Enchancement Project. This will give the youngsters and the general public an opportunity to create a sense of well being and a social intercourse between the generation gaps to improve and enhance the local environment.WE have been trying to have a community hall for years and have had no success. The local youngsters and the elderly have no place to organise community events. The mixture of projects is to improve the fabric of their lives by brightening up a grey dismal village centre by intoducing Flower Gardens, getting a floodlit area for the local footballers, (girls and boys)to give the teenagers events at the weekend other than indulging in the habit of alcohol and artistic work on local buildings.
