Mr Gay Ireland
Well thats it over for another year and what a fantastic night it was. About 25 people down on the free bus from Newry and Dundalk all to cheer on our Blaine! We can be really proud of Blaine our Mr Gay Newry as he really excelled in every area from the introduction to the interview to the swimwear. A real genuine guy and a pleasure to know.
Sadly on the night it wasn’t to be for Newry and Mr Gay Lurgan took the Mr Gay NI Title and Mr Galway took the Mr Gay Ireland prize.

Thanks to everyone who came along. Thanks to Wes who proudly introduced Blaine. Thanks to Martin the bus driver who had the patience of a saint and luckily we came home with everyone we took up which was an achievement in itself.
The entire night was a fantastic show from start to finish thanks to Brian Merriman and Mikey Robinson for all their amazing work in putting it together. The line up of artists and guests was exceptional, entertainment at its best.
It was just as well that most of us managed to get today off though!0 Comments 12 days

Yep it'll be a good idea. You can just copy and paste all of the info from here! We can all suggest friends to you too so you'll have plenty of friends on it in no time! The only hard decision is.. Make a group page or a normal friend page and all it Passion Newry or something. The name filters are likely to disallow the word Of in a name. But that can be used as a group. The George has a group page. The Dragon has a normal friend page. They called their page TheDragon Bar. You can get facebook.com /PassionOfNewry if you confirm with a text message.

Thursday 10th Of September is World Suicide Awareness Day.
To mark this event, community groups from across Belfast are participating in an “Walk of Life” to raise awareness of the issue. Groups from across the city are leaving their perspective headquarters to march to City Hall for 6am, to mark this as a Belfast wide event. The event is scheduled at this early time to symbolise travelling through darkness and into light as an expression of hope for those bereaved through suicide.
We would like to march from our building Memorial House waring Street at 5.00am

Passion 2nd float in the Belfast Pride Parade is only DAYS AWAY and after last years success we are going all out and with a new theme which is COUNTRY COMES TO TOWN! Any one wanting to walk along with the Passion float PLEASE try to wear summit COUNTRY, LAST YEAR was a learning experience also on the procedures of the parade, so this year we have had to keep the number of people on the passion float to exact numbers as stated on our applicantion, as we have OUR 20 PEOPLE already anyone else is welcome to walk along with us.
lets make pride bigger an better than last year, we Have to show Iris we still here, queer and proud!!!
