- I'm branching out in to Bebo-land to try and create an online network for my youth & children's movement, Urban Saints. I'm a Facebook-exile really but I have heard good things about this place - although so far things have been pretty slow going...
What about me? I'm almost 30, live in Hitchin with my wife Michelle and aspire to own a house and a cat. I'm a Christian and work for a charity and am currently trying make new friends in my new town while keeping touch with all my lovely old friends. Apologies if I don't do a good job. I love football, beer, tea, lasagne, comedy podcasts and all things media-related, especially TV and film.
Bebo is proving to be something of a mystery to me...!

Bebo? Oh yeah, I remember that...
Hmm, kinda lost track with my Bebo adventure recently. It's almost as if I've found a nice, quiet, green-&-pleasant, (Facebook-like) pasture and set up camp for a while... It's a good job that my Bebo-tag-team of Kenny & Terly are keeping things ticking over on the Urban Saints page. Legendary work, fellas!
So, on to the question in hand. How do we grow our modest group? It is supposed to represent all those Bebo-ites who are Urban Saints - but I refuse to believe that they number less than 40! So, what is it that's needed? Incentives, prizes, or maybe just enough decent stuff to attract them in the first place?
To be fair to myself and my heroic team, there's already quite a lot of stuff up there and I think it is a need to spread the word wider. But I'm struggling cos I only have 29 Bebo friends myself and most of them are either "too old" for Urban Saints or signed up unwittingly back in the Bebo early days. So I'm stuck and not sure what to do next - any suggestions??!!0 Kommentare 392 Tage

The Ultimate Event
I haven't documented progress on here for a while - mainly cos I've been too busy trying to recruit more people! But since we connected with loads of people at this weekend's Ultimate Event at Alton Towers, numbers have positively exploded... to 11! I'm about to put out another email to all those who came to the exhibition stand at the gig and encourage them to check out our page so we'll see what happens then. I'm also hoping to add the new youth video to YouTube so we'll have another thing to draw people in...
The Ultimate Event was awesome - pics to follow on www.bebo.com/urban--saints - and we had great response and a really enjoyable day. We even managed to get on a ride in the park - a 110 minute queue for Air but it was pretty good (not the best ride I've ever done but still a worthwhile new experience...).

Bebo Avalanche!
Things have gone pretty crazy on Bebo-mountain... The Urban Saints group has now grown to 5 members, including those wonderful folks north of the border! That's Scotland between you and me... Thing is that it is only guys so far and I have to stress that it is not 'that' type of group ;-) Come on, female Urban Saints...
Spent some time today thinking about ideas for videos we could make for this site and our other online areas... Very exciting and would definitely bring our little Bebo-world to life0 Kommentare 612 Tage

The real reason why im leaving you this comment is because we ( myself and tom aka RE:citer or terly) need some new pictures for the US bebo page, its starting to take shape so im suggesting to him that we keep on top of it and update it as regularly as poss, also we could possibly use this as a portal for the new website once its online?

Adventures in Bebo land, should deffo be published! itd be a best seller cos noone would know who you are, gives it mystery. noone wud no wat the adventures were, more mystery, and with the right advertising yu cud make it sound remotely intresting and a worthwyl read. Best seller in a week! lol

Thought I would reply after 7 weeks!! I'm not good at this bebo thing at all! That was the job indeed! Just finished with them, completely loved it so thanks for the prayers for the interview, def worked!! Doing a bit of work for a church in the centre of Belfast and still doing youth work in my own church before starting uni in Sept.
Any closer to Hitchin then since I last spoke to you? Is there some kind of connection between Hitchen and U.S and Matt's church? Hitchen just must be the place to be! Hope married life is treating you well and all the prep for summer is going well in U.S. Sounds like you're having a busy time of it too!
Hey welcome to the world of Bebo! I'm not the best member it has to be said and after a few busy weeks I'm finally getting around to getting back to everyone!
