The old gunfighter stood on the porch and stared into sun
And relived all the old days back when he was livin' by the gun
When deadly games of pride were played and livin' was mistakes not made
And it's always keep your back to the sun
And he can almost feel the weight of that gun
And it's faster than snakes or a blink of the eye
And it's a time for all slow men to die
His eyes get squinty and he's straight as log
and he empties his gun at the dirty dog
Now the burn of a bullet is only a scar
And he's back in his chair in front of a bar
And the streets're empty and the blood's all dried
The dead 're dust and and the whiskey's inside
So buy him a drink and lend him an ear
He's nobody's fool and he's the only one here
Said I stood in that street before it was paved
I learned the shoot or be shot before I could shave
And I did it all for the money and the fame
Noble was nothing but feelin' no shame
And nothing was sacred but stayin' alive
And all that I learned from a Colt 45
Now he's just an old man that nobody believes
Says he's a gunfighter the last of this breed
And there's ghosts in the street seekin' revenge
Callin' him out to the lunatic fringe
He's out in the traffic down checking the sun
And he's killed by a car as he goes for his gun

Verily oh you god is the oft returning to mercy and my life is like what the messengers have said as a shadow that passes past a tree.

Time and time again oh god, I make mistakes, oh lord please forgive verily you are the oft forgiving, unlike the stones that are worshiped indeed you are the one who is generous and the answer of prayers, as i have begged for many days and nights and you have granted me mercy and been there to rid me of the fear and accomplish that which i could not have done without your assistance.
Oh lord the bringer of the rain and the sunlight, what a gift that I have not appreciated you have given me and others respite and verily if I had been in my wicked old ways I would have been in eternal damnation.
Oh lord who loves those who are generous, praise be to you who gives us that feeling of happiness in our hearts. How could I have been so blind to see that which is most loved by you.
Oh lord who loves the humble, verily you are the mighty and powerful who has made firm mountains and stars in the sky so that we may reflect. Oh lord being humble to you is a struggle to be honest, but when you continue to bless me oh lord I am so grateful and appreciative.
Oh lord who loves the pious, what is their greater then piousness to act on pleasing others, being kind, supporting others, caring, respecting, worshiping, understanding, learning, loving. Oh lord the most gracious most merciful verily these attributes are ones which please you.There is a feeling of happiness from our souls whenever we act upon them. Oh lord thank you for making us people of us understanding and being patient , because at times we loose our temper and lead others astray.
Oh lord I have wrote to little there is so much appreciation from me and others that no amount of words can express.
Praise be to you oh god and there is no one in the heavens and the earth other than you, who has existed before we have and has given us the sight, feeling,heart,
