The Glasgow Acting Academy offers young people the opportunity to learn and develop techniques in all aspects of acting, musical theatre and the performing arts in a fun and safe envirnonment. In other words it rocks ; )
GAA runs classes each week in both Acting and Musical Theatre. Classes are 3 hours long and are run on an ongoing basis weeknights and weekends throughout the year.
So join our group if you a an uber cool GAA-er, or if you simply think we are amense. ; ) x

REP Season 2009 - Part 2
Hi All
Just to give you an update that all of the 8 - 10 years, 11 - 13 years & 14 - 17 Year old classes who have not yet done a show this year will perform in the 2nd part of this years rep season.
The 2nd part of this years REP season will run from Monday 23rd of November - Saturday 28th November.

GLASGOW ACTING ACADEMY HAS WON AN OSCAR. Maureen has a new puppy (Oscar) who some of you may have see from time to time. He is 7 weeks old and will work in the office during the day. If he dosent get all his work done - some of you may see him working overtime in the office at night. Photo of Oscar attached. More photos in our albums.
NEDS
We would like to thank all the students who have been involved in the new Peter Mullan film - NEDS. Most of the boys from GAA, and quite a few of the girls have had the opportunity to work as supporting artistes on the film and have had a wonderful time.
A special well done to to those who secured acting roles: - Marcus Nash, Chelsea Hanratty, Victoria Rose, Connor McCarry, & Louis McLaughlin.
A big thank you to Peter and the crew who made the filming so enjoyable for everyone.
