Hi to all Holyoaks fans, if you are a fan of The X Factor and you watch the live shows. Please could you vote John & Edward out because they have got non telent at all, and Simon has said if they win it will be the end of The X Factor and he will quit england, you need to make sure that doesn't happen because I'm sure you want The X Factor to carry on for years to come.

I wish people wouldn't use words like "baldy" when Nico wasn't given any choice in the matter. He was under contract when he had to do that to his hair. This whole thing with de-emoing Newt really sucks Varsity arse. There are no words to describe how much I hate the writer - or producer - who thought of such a sucky idea. I don't watch Hollyoaks any more now but for some reason I came back here to see what people were saying about that stupid storyline, which has killed Hollyoaks for me.

I hope that viewers can see beyond the hair-carnage storyline and realize what a world class actor Nico Mirallegro is. He is in a new short film soon, called Six Minutes of Freedom and I am really looking forward to seeing that. Please, Hollyoaks fans, whatever happens to poor Newt - who has now been robbed of his individuality - remember that Nico Mirallegro is a legend.

UPDATE: just found out today that changing Nico's hair got him written out of some scenes in LOL Series. Class.

i can totally understand where everyone is coming from when they say they dont like nico's makeover but tbh he does look better without it. that was he hair at the time of filming anyway. plus that wig must itch him. i understand why they are doing it though because of him trying to de-emo himself and stop his schizophrenia from escalating like it did episodes ago. i can understand both sides but my point of view is we dont really have a say and he looks fit with or without his wig.

i have never been as horrified as i was yesterday watching that appart from the fact that he shaved his hair i wasnt expecting it as i thought it was on monday so imagine my total shock and devistation as he reached for that razor
and did what was the worst dicision hollyoaks hasever made

ill still keep watching hollyoaks but hollyoaks will never b the same again

One of the worst things about de-emoing Newt is that it gives out an almost racist propaganda message that Emos and Goths are all in need of a makeover, otherwise they can't become "acceptable" people. You insult all your alternative, rock/metal lifestyle viewers with this abysmal storyline, and you have put Newt through a kind of sausage machine of normality by de-emoing him. It's your biggest mistake of all time and it will show up in lower ratings for sure.

You've also upset a lot of young people who had a happy familiarity in being able to have a crush on Newt and daydream about him. Those same people represent your viewing figures, so if you still don't care about their feelings, then you should at least be bricking it about what will happen to your ratings, now you've demolished the best character on the show.

Great Hollyoaks eps tonight & great acting all round, especially from Nico and Dominique. Felt sorry for Lauren when Newt told her he didn't need her anymore.

I want them to be friends again but I think Lauren was in the right cos he was basically using her!

I don't like the fact that you's are de-emoing Newt tho! He was fine the way he was and doesn't need changed! & pls don't change his personality either, everyone likes him as sweet, adorable, kind Newt

He's soo nice & loveable and thats why everyone likes him! Newt's defo my fave character and the best on the show!
