M People had hits in the 90s including 'Moving On Up', 'How Can I Love You More?' and 'Search For The Hero'. The band won a Mercury Music Prize and two Brit Awards! Heather Small has released two solo albums and has had major success with 'Proud' which was used in the London 2012 Olympics bid and by Oprah Winfrey. Heather appeared on the 2008 series of 'Strictly Come Dancing' with 'Brian Fortuna' and has taken part in the TV show 'Dancing On Wheels' which is set to be aired on BBC Three in Jan 2010. Heather will also be supporting the 2009 Children In Need appeal by appearing on the album 'Bandaged Together'.

'After selling several million records, winning two Brit Awards and the Mercury Music Prize, performing across the globe and recording a track that has become an unofficial national anthem, Heather Small is set to return to the stage in 2009.

As Part of M People, hits such as 'Moving On Up', 'One Night In Heaven' and 'Search For The Hero' and albums like Elegant Slumming, Bizarre Fruit and Fresco achieving massive worldwide success, Heather became one of the seminal British voices of the 1990s, with the band winning the Best British Dance Act Award at the Brits in 1994 and 1995, as well as the Mercury Music Prize.

In addition to recent appearances in front of the world’s cameras at Buckingham Palace for the 2012 Olympic Handover party, special appearances at Manchester Pride, and the Cardiff Millenium Stadium for the Welsh 6 Nations Victory Celebration, and of course Strictly Come Dancing.

In the midst of all of this, Heather and the Snake Davis Band completed a run of 3 sell-out nights at Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club in London at the end of 2008, which were received with overwhelming acclaim. In this stunning concert she will showcase her vocal talent with a mixture of blues and jazz standards and the greatest and best-loved hits from her own solo material and her days with M People.'
