- In 1984, The Gaffer moved from the UK to Florida and has been tolerating the heat here ever since.
- Music
- As a former rock journalist, my passion for music is almost as great as my love of soccer. My favorite band of all time is The Cult, for many different reasons. From 1989 to 1995, I published the semi-official Cult fanzine, SANCTUARY, which was the most famous publication devoted to the band. Lots of stories and fond memories (just ask). Other than The Cult, my music collection is very eclectic, ranging from Bob Marley to The Cardigans, over to Front 242, AC/DC and The Veldt.

- Favorite movies include Cinema Paradiso, Cry Freedom, Hedwig and The Angry Inch, and Lawrence of Arabia, to name just a few.
- Passion
