Welcome to the new CordiaFREAKS website! CordiaFREAKS was launched on October 1st, 2006 where I offered free photo hosting and a basic forum as an after thought, the website has changed alot since then. There are still no fees to become a member, you are not required to pay a single cent. However, we do accept donations, and are extremely thankful to those who do contribute!

Also VERY important when choosing a vr4 motor... be sure to get one with a 6 BOLT Flywheel crank and youl need to use your flywheel and clutch from cordia etc... other wise you will not be able to bolt up your standard cordia gear box... and a turbo cordia gear box will be needed to handle the extreme power of vr4. Like i said little bit more of a mission in GSL.
good luck though Hope all goes well for you and would be mint seeing another Cordia rocking around Palmy!!
Hi mate, awesome question
well in a GSL you will need to do a little bit more work than just a 'straight bolt in' still do-able though need things like turbo oil return lines... and other fuel lines, little things like that... prob easier to do this from a turbo cordia really... But in order to put in a vr4 engine, you need to adjust the passenger side engine mount, one closest to the timing cover side.
Do this by by grinding off the locating lug and sitting the vr4 engine level in the bay... then pretty much weld the lug back where you need it to suit. Sounds to easy because it is... if you need any extra help with the other bits and pieces feel free to ask questions at www.cordiaFreaks.com Cheers mate
question.
