- Piemont was founded by the Hamburg based producers Frederic Möring-Sack and Christian de Jonquieres, whose numerous releases and remixes under their alias Phunklarique and Dejonka have already gained a huge fan base over the past few years. The initial output for their early releases has been the own record labels Suchtreflex and Wahrhaft which they have been managing successfully since 2007.
From the early production of listening music they have made a big step towards the DJ scene, ending up in 2008 in many flightcases and charts of DJs such as: Richie Hawtin, Dubfire and Carl Cox.
Their beat ridden tracks do include a certain kind of magic in terms of abstract funkiness and soul which has been growing on people ever after they have listened to their tracks for the first time.
Many of their tracks have developed into evergreens, being played out for months and months. Now Piemont is no more a upcoming force in the scene but an established member of the top league of German p - RESIDENT DJ'S

MICRONITE is back this Saturday with the best Bhur in Techno....CAMEA.
Shes one of the best new techno Djs on the scenece and has been highly recommended to us by all the other Djs & performers who have played MICRONITE. heres a bit of a biog on herself
Also there will be 50 copies of Dan Sykes new mix for the first 50 heads in the door. Please come early as this is expected to sell out pretty with feens coming into town from all over the country for Cameas debut exclusive to Limerick appearance.
She is Seattle cool meets Brooklyn edge, with a dark, sophisticated techno and micro-house sound that's addicted the hip across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Camea, a classically trained piano and clarinet player turned electronica diva, offers a funky-sexy blend of groovy house and techno-pop, a little bit dirty and a lot danceable. A rising star on the producing scene, her tracks have been played by many leading artists, and in 2007 she has remixes out on Minus and Einmaleins, as well as original music on Clink and Spectral. She's also the co-founder of two record labels, Clink Recordings and Klickhaus, which showcases the best of minimal techno, and both imprints have received International attention and press from DJs, critics and listeners. Working closely with New York locals Tim Xavier, Insideout, Tony Rohr, Alexi Delano, Ambivalent and Elon, Camea is passionate about both labels and works hard to keep them on the rise.
From small, underground clubs to crowds numbering in thousands, Camea is recognized for her intelligent, fun music selection and outgoing stage presence, which has earned her a valuable reputation worldwide. She has also made a distinct mark on the New York techno scene, performing at many of the prestigious venues and parties for her genre, including Avalon, Cielo, Wolf & Lamb, Bunker, APT, Minimoo and Crobar. Additionally, before her recent relocation Berlin, she teamed up with Kevin McHugh, also known as Ambivalent (Minus), on Friday nights for a global audience on their live weekly broadcast, The Nerd Tank, on EastVillageRadio online.

The Night after Christmas" St Stephens Night Limerick
All aboard for “The night after christmas” part deux. Last years event saw record numbers flock to bakers place for what was a night reminicint of the early raves of the hacienda.
This year should be no different. Kicking off at 4pm upstairs with reggea, dubstep, funk, disco & house music from the cream of Limerick Djs such as the infamous Pippy, recently relocated back home from New York. Pippy is know for his trade mark sets always played off the cuff, for those of who haveny experienced Pippy take this as a chance to do so.. Also is the legendary Pa Mulqueen, Phil wade, Peter Byrne, Brigader Jc, Yos & Ronan McMullen & Techfest man Cian Frawley, laying down somr lighter beats than usual.
Downstairs will concentrate with the harder sounds ranging from house to Techno.
The line up has newcastlewests most valuable export after Ballygowan, Sean O Mahony. Struuts Bad boy Blast, K2, DID & Andrew, music wizzkid Adrian de Cleir, Shakin Tackys Darragh Flynn, Polands Pete Rosso, Johnney, Paul Maloney.
Introducing Nikki on ther night, the only female representitive on the night, shes small but with a big sound. Visual extradonaire Adrian Flynn & Component & Micronite main man Dan Sykes.
So there you have it, its more Djs than you can shake a stick at, so after spending all the previuos day with family its time to get out & let loose, and where better than the mini music festival that is “the night after christmas” non stop music for 10 hours from the best Djs Limerick has to offer, the underground is now rocking to the newly installed Apogee sound system, making Bakers the offical home of quality underground independent music in Limerick. The club has seend some of the biggest nmaes from across the variuos genres all giving it rave reviews and citing it as one of their favourite gigs. So Come join us for one of the last dances of 2008.

LIMERICK DANCE WEEKENDER @ Baker place.
2 debut exclusive gigs for the Dance weekender in The Underground in Baker place, Limerick.
Both promoters MICRONITE & SHAKIN TACKY have teamed up to create the first “Dance weekender” for Limerick.
The weekender will also celebrate the new re furbished club & the installation of a MASSIVE new sound system.
The system has been given the thumbs up by Bloody Mary & Dapayk who were the first to test it.
Micronite is Limericks leading techno night, promoting the best in Underground Techno & house. Recent past guests include Fairmont, Bloody Mary & Dapayk.
Shakin Tacky represents the Electro fidget house sound.
Both have pulled out all the stops with booking leaders of their respected sounds to ply their trade over the weekend.
Friday December 5th sees EDU K jet in from Brazil for their Irish debut appearance.
They are currently riding high on the Headbanger Ep release & had massive success from their track “Me Bota” that the Crookers did a storming remix of.
Saturday 6th of December will see MICRONITE bring the mighty Florian Meindl
to the underground. Florian had the massive track Blast on Trapez earlier in the year. He also is owner of Flash recordings along with Oliver Koletzki. He has released music on Trapez, Resopal, Session deluxe, Stil vor Talent.
His style lies between tough minimal techno & melodic electro.
So there you have it, 2 nights of quality music, and each gig is only €10!!! Micronite & Shakin Tacky are promoting the best quality of music while still keeping door prices friendly. So come on down to the Underground to see & hear
whats shaping up to be the event of 2008.
