- using inopportune moments and a musical alphabet as deep as the sea, little comets are currently traversing a sextet of cities with nothing but shine in the apples of their eyes.
somehow soon this combination of pockets, testing, melody and treason will stumble across your path and leave an indelible mark deeper than hue, fingerprint or membrane on your story. raker.

aaaaaDulterrry (26th OCT), newcastle (28thOCT)
Wash out your mouths,
Oh so you may or may not know that we are making our first release with Columbia on the 26th October of the-cautionary-tale (Adultery).... but like health food it is important that we give you the right information about it!
Songs on it, innit:
Adultery
Mathilda (a new song which we are going to whack on the myspace soon!)
Figures (and we might as well put this back up tooo)
A more refined, melancholic version of Adultery!
How you can buy it-t-t-t-ttt-t-t-t-t-t-t-t:
a_:::::::: In-the-shops on the 26th O-c-t-o-b-e-r OR you can pre-order a little copy from here(!) BUTTT be careful because we've only had 1000 made so you might have to be quick....
b_:::::::: Download it from iTunes? (it isn't up there yet!)
IN ADDITION: after the end of our little tour with the-NOISETTES we are going to play a guige in Newcastle on the Wednesday-28th-October (preceded by a gig in a supermarket)..... now::::: the last couple we've down in the upstairs academy have SOLD OUT so you can get some tickets from dis LINK
That is it: going to sleep now as we have to sew our socks together in preparation for Aberdeen tomorrow..... OH-and-going-to post a little tour update blog this week as Hockey was very much fun-n-n-n!

an EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL CANCELLATION of malapropismic proportion...
Hello bygones,
With spades of sadness and genuine anger in our capillaries, we have to announce, as honest emissaries, a glut of cancellations not seen since Heathrow got all terminal five on its arrrrrrsssssse….
Unfortunately we must break our promises and not play gigs in:
Liverpool,
Carlisle,
Hull,
Manchester and
Mallorca (this last one was Dizzee Rascal’s fault – he wanted 8,000 Japanese kids to parachute into his gig, blaring FIXUPLOOKSHHHHHHHARP from speakers attached to their feet using liquid-frozen-cyanide)
We asked renowned economic guru and wordsmith Evan Davis to comment on the four others:
‘All of this could have been avoided with a bit more forward planning. I use the analogy of elephants and zoos. Basically if you want to record an album with an elephant and the elephant says: “ok, great we are ready to record it now in January”, but the zoo says: “oh no, you can’t do that but I don’t actually know why, just sit around and do nothing instead”, and then waits until the elephants are about to go on tour and then says: “Hi this is Paul from the zoo here, actually you should start recording the album now so you can’t go on tour even though we have known about it for two months and done nothing to previously broach the issue”, then you are just asking for trouble. Luckily those elephants are good negotiators so have managed not to have to cancel too many performances”
THAT WAS AS THINLY VEILED AS GRAPHENE.
We’ll get spanked for this but being truthful is always the best policy. Apologies to anyone who has bought tickets, if you send us an email we will find a way to remunerate you, sonically.

so you'd never guess it, we've got a gig at the bridge on wednesday....
hello ross or lewis,
what is up with you?
because gastro-worries and just-plain-hard-work have kept us away from the north east for a little, we thought we'd do a non-isosceles triangle of gigs in our freezing region in the space of furore days. they crop up as follows, swallows:
wednesday 26th november, newcastle-tips-tyne, breeedge hotel, 8pm, £3: with sheffield knife-pop pioneers vegas child and the late great trev gibb (who leaks poetry like a chordal tap)
friday 28th november, sunderland, bondage warehouse, 9pm, £3 (maybe): bring latex and any other gadgets, make sure you clean them first....!
saturday 29th november, middlesbrough, the empire, 10pm, £3 (possibly): tops are patient, bottoms are steady, middles b rough.
ok, that is it. matt says hi.
goodbye from chris and pete.
