Members of the club will be getting their bodies waxed and heads shaved all for to raise money for Ovens Macra Na Feirme.

There will be a trained beautician on hand to rip the wax strips off the lads. And even you can get the chance to pull a strip.

Congratulations to Declan McCarthy who has reached the final twelve in the AIB Best New Member Competition. Declan was nominated by Clon Macra for his outstanding contribution to club life in his first year in Macra. Declan dedicated much of his time to the winning drama production as sound manager, assisted in the organisation of the 60th Anniversary Dinner Dance and set up a hillwalking group for members. The final takes place at the Rally in Bantry over the October Bank Holiday. Best of Luck Declan.
