- My name's Aimee Nathan and I am campaigning for people to take their own coffee mugs to cafes. Every disposable cup taken from a coffee store adds to the already huge waste produced every year in the UK. Taking your own mug to a coffee store or cafe is a small task for you, but could make a huge difference to the world we live in.
I aim for all coffee chains to lower their prices for those who bring their own mugs, and eventually I want to make a prototype of a new, thermos flask which is compact and can be carried around with you in your handbag.

Little update...
Hey everyone
So as you saw in my last blog, Lady gaga has been walking around London with her own China tea cup and has said that it is because she hates drinking from paper cups. SO I was very excited about this and decided to email her agent to ask if she could support the campaign in any way! All very exciting stuff!!
Also, the much - anticipated video is being filmed and so hopefully you will all be able to see what weve been working on with Creative Orchestra in the upcoming weeks. There has been a casting call today which was very successful and we hope to be recording the film early next week. Watch this space
Got my exams coming up soon so very very nervous!! Good luck to anyone else working towards SATS, GCSEs, A levels, anything!

Girl you must feel famous, as I also am watching you on Channel 4 right now along with thousands of other people.
I love what your trying to do. I have Green and save the world ideas. Sometimes the smallest of ideas work the best. I have my own thermost cup that I take to the coffee shops but I did this because I hated those disposalable cups.
