Overall The Gong simply wanted it more. The only reason that they got 93 points is because no one other then Rick Or Dil wanted to clean the glass. It clearly showed how much the Breakers wanted it. Offensivly for NZ every one was just waiting for someone to chuck up a long bomb. Clearly the hustle was not there tonight.

    Dissapointing result.

CHOKED Big Time In THE CLUTCH!

Down the stretch Abercrombie and Boucher with the last shots. Forman with about 2 mins on the clock with a wide open tripple. He might as well have shot it from halfway. Why wasn't it in Penney or Bruton's hands?
4 Key areas the Breakers need to adress to have a shot at finishing around 6th place.

    1 - REBOUNDING - Where was it???
2 - Foul Trouble - Ill admit the refs should have put there whistle away a bit but come on every game not one or two but at least three people have to sit down after giving up lazy fouls.
3 - Rotation - Does Andrej know how to use his subs? Where was The Real Deal in the 2nd half?
4 - Offence - You can't just rely on the Trey to get you home plus Kirk Penney is a freak on offence create more plays for him. It just seemed so fragile in the 2nd half.

The Breakers look good at home. KP and The Big O lighting it up from downtown. PLEASE keep John Rillie instead of an import. Congrats on win

Just a suggestion can we get more merchandise (eg. hoodies, t-shirts.) up on the patronbase store?

    GO THE BREAKERS!

Here's some luv for a great night of basketball last night. A well deserved win! Oscar was on fire last night which was great to see and nice to have the return of our good man KP! Also a congrats to Henare for making 200 games for the breakers!

I thought it ironic that Chris Browns "forever" was played 3x during the game on the night we were against womens violence. Need to screen your playlist!

I'm sorry to say but what a disappointing display of basketball against the Taipans. 4 of our starting 5 fouled out too!Honestly?!
The commentary was poor to say the least. It was an absolute fizzer of a game.
However, room for redemption in the next home game. Good luck against the Crocs tomorrow, they will put up a fight! We really need a win on the road.

The Team pulled out all the stops and beat ladder leaders, Perth Wildcats, 83-74, at North Shore Events Centre last night.

It was a physical game, which showed on the scoreboard with foul counts increasing as each minute passed on the clock. Tom Abercrombie was the top scorer with 23 points.

The atmosphere was awesome, the Team wished you all could have been there. See you on November 26th for the next home game - PLUS we're celebrating Pauli's 200th game so come and support this great milestone!

GREAT GAME LAST NIGHT GUYS! I only wish I lived near Auckland! Then I would be at every game! Sadly I can't and have to watch on a teeny tiny TV at my mates as we can't get Maori TV on our big screen atm. Go hard Breakers!
