- Scheme played their last gig on a Saturday night in the summer of 2002.The following day Denny Oliver and John Smith along with Bod started to put a band together with Alan and Marie Sinclair, Tony McClennan and Andy Finnigan .This was the start of the band called ROOTS.A few weeks later we were out playing plus reheasing a couple of nights a week,bouncing musical ideas. After a wee break,John,Andy(Bod) Alan and Denny came back with a wee band called JAAD (guess how we arrived at the name).New material from the the pen of Denny , a couple of older songs and off to the studio.Wasn't the quickest made cd but what you hear is The Scheme Experience. Bod moved on and is replaced by Ian Murray on perc,the band continue to play songs that have been written over a 28 year period including some that haven't been written yet.Please remember where the song came from,their subject matter,etc.This is why this is a forward thinking band and web site.It is controlled by the band (the only one )

Was introduced to this band by my uncle who passed away just in July, at first I just laughed but it's never off an means more to me now that he's gone, time goes by was played at his funeral. Love you guys!!
