- Ariel's sound ranges from dramatically-charged ballads to upbeat pop-rock with a bouncy 80s feel, summery and melodic. Intense cris de coeur and carefree, let-you-hair-down music that chases your troubles away.

- Ariel is not afraid to be powerful. She's not scared of being "too much" or of her creativity galloping apace like a wild horse. Rapture and release is what it's all about. Her attitude towards life is "Do it for the joy!"
As a vocalist she has an intriguing, quirky and distinctive voice, sharp and clear euro-soulfulness, with a histrionic edge of excess that holds your attention like Kate Bush. Comparisons have been made to Heart, Grace Slick and Martha Davis.
Ariel hails from London, where she grew up playing irish folk and classical music until a conversion to rock in her teens. Developing a following on the notoriously tough London live scene, she's been compared to artists like David Bowie, Chrissie Hynde and Annie Lennox although her sound is more than a simple fusion. Ariel has performed at the The Marquee, Bloomsbury Theatre, Union Chapel, Notting Hill Arts Club and many more.

Ariel and Well Known DJ Marsha Meet for Relaxation
This week Ariel met up with hot XFM DJ Marsha [http://www.myspace.com/marshamusic] at London's music and fashion-forward Sanderson Hotel. Marsha was fresh from her show on the indie station [http://www.xfm.co.uk/onair/djs/marsha].
The two enjoyed cocktails (Marsha went for bitter and Ariel for sweet) and delicious Chinese Bao and discussed the future of the music industry as regards breaking new artists.
Reclining in the sun-dappled courtyard, Ariel put forward Sellaband [www.sellaband.com/ariel] as an innovative concept for supporting emerging artists, providing a forum for them to fundraise and gather interest in a future album.
Swinging her feet in the handing basket chair, Marsha talked about her experience managing Sam Isaac, currently touring the UK [http://www.samisaac.co..uk/] and the value of other innovative sites such as rcrdlbl.com [www.rcrdlbl.com].
Marsha spoke about her grassroots campaign on behalf of Scouting For Girls [http://www.scoutingforgirls.co.uk/] (who hasn't heard their breakthrough single 'She's So Lovely' on every TV channel?) which started with the indie pop group performing in the sitting room of her Bethnal Green pad.
Marsha advised that while online malls such as bluerodeo.com [http://www.bluerodeo.com/] work excellently for established acts like Alice in Chains [www.aliceinchains.com], they can't offer anything to new artists.
The pair arrived at the conclusion that effective online social networking and really getting into close contact with your fans is the way forward.
