3 things you didn't know about us:
1) When they started, the four members - Anni-Frid Lyngstad, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Agnetha Faltskog - had the brilliant idea of creating a name for the group by combining their four initials into an acronym.
2) Abba first shot to worldwide fame when they won the Eurovision Song Contest in April, 1974 with Waterloo. "We knew if we had any chance of winning the competition we had to write a song about a major London rail terminal," recalls Bjorn Ulvaeus. "So we had a go with everything - St Pancras, King's Cross, Euston, London Bridge, Paddington, even Fenchurch Street. But, try as we might, we couldn't make any of them rhyme with: "Couldn't escape if I wanted to".
3) Bjorn and Benny have never been photographed together, leading many to believe that they are, in fact, the same person.

One day I was asked to write a song for a boy/girl band called NI5 (now gone).
The only boy/girl group I ever liked was Abba - so I tried to write an Abba-type of song....of course, no-one can write songs like Abba!
But my effort was called 'Believe in me' & it's uploaded here.
