- À propos de moi
- Real Circumstance Theatre Company was set up in Colchester in 2006 with three aims: to produce innovative theatre consisting of new writing by emergent writers, and new plays created by the Company through long-term real-time improvisation; to help young theatre-practitioners develop their crafts both before and after professional training; and to raise the profile of Essex and the Eastern Region as a national centre of creative artistic work.
In our plays we explore human narratives that exist in detailed, three-dimensional, worlds. All our work is underpinned by a process of rehearsal in which actors are encouraged to create fully-realised imaginary selves, who are able to respond truthfully to any given circumstance.
