- Me, Myself, and I
- Hi, I’m Amy Pemberton. I played Sarah Rivers in a Transport for London road safety advert. I was so chuffed to get the job as I knew it was an incredibly important and powerful message. When I first saw the whole ad put together I was genuinely shocked, even though I knew what was going to happen.
It was one long day filming, I was up at 5.30am and on set for 7am, bacon sandwich in hand, at this amazing house. Met the guy who owned it and complimented him on the games room and cinema!!
Right now I’m playing the part of Lorraine in 'Jersey Boys' at the Prince Edward Theatre. It’s a great show and an amazing script!
It’s pretty hard work and I only get one day off a week. I either head home to see the family or chill out at home where I live with my gorgeous boyf (barf!).
I’ve been really lucky following my dream, but there's no pretending it's easy. But you get one shot at life - you gotta grab it with both hands, and work as hard as you can - Music
- All sorts really, Music in general is just amazing - what would the world be like without it? Quiet! Dire Straits (thanks Dad!!) More up to date - Maroon Five, Lucy Silvas is a massive favourite, she's an amazing songwriter and vocalist. Loving Duffy at the moment too.
- Films
- That's a difficult question, i have quite a few; Hotel Rwanda, Crash, The Green Mile, Coming to America and Steel Magnolias...eeekk and Mrs Doubtfire!!
- Hobbies
- I'm learning Sign Language which is great. My main hobby at the moment is fundraising for two charities, 'Headway' which is a brain rehabilitation centre and also 'Little Havens Childrens Hospice. I did panto with Jo Pasquale - we all headed down to the hospice to spend a morning there with some of the children and their families and staff - and again such an amazing and inspiring place, been determined to help both charities ever since.
