Me, Myself, and I
HOLA! Welcome to The 5:19 Show.. We would tell you what it's about, but we can't, as we don't even know ourselves til it happens.

However, there are three things you need to know.

1. You can watch it LIVE EVERY DAY AT 5:19 PM at
www.bbc.co.uk/switch/the519show

2. It’s presented by Tom Deacon and AJ, and if you email us, we might throw it at them
3. It makes no sense.

And, through some weird by-pass of good decisions, we've now been allowed on the actual, real, telly. Yup, the 5:19 can now take over the land of TV as well as the internets, every Saturday on BBC Two as part of BBC Switch. So sick!

VIEWERS MUST BE ADVISED THAT THE SHOWS COULD CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING: emergencies, confused guests, Tom Deacon's face, Tom from McFly, food flying about, LIES, fit people, Party Party Party Party Party Rules, a lion called Roary, the legs of Kim, more (but we're tired of typing, so that'll be it for now).

  • Hey 5:19 people of the world! It's Tom!

    Hello! It's official we’re back and live online. Its been so nice to come back after a long, and at times, boring summer. It wasn’t hot or sunny enough for my liking. But now I have a wicked new co-host to help me in all things 5:19 in the form of the lovely AJ!


    But, bad news - she has lost her hairbrush already. Because of this unfortunate event, she has gone on and on and on about it, "I've lost my hairbrush, I've lost my hairbrush…. Moan moan moan!” But other than that things are great between us. We’ve had Mini Viva in, we’ve met the cast of the new Fame film and we had Pixie Lott in as our guest on our brand new 5:19 show on tv. That’s right, you read correctly…. The 5:19 show is now on BBC2 every Saturday. Did you see last week's? Pixie Lot was in the studio. We got her some new carpet tiles! This week we're all about Chipmunk though. C's up!

    Other news from this week to report on…. Um let me think…. Oh yeah! We are starting a new thing for you to get involved in. Cringe stories! We are looking for your embarrassing cringe stories that we can animate and then show on the show, just because it's funny…. So email them in to the519show@bbc.co.uk or post them up. Go on.



    Anyhow. One last thought - it's not Monday morning, it's not Monday morning....

  • LIke what? We need your help. In a shameful way.

    Yes. In less than two weeks The 5:19 Show is back, bigger than before and bursting on to your TV screens every Saturday as part of the BBC Switch zone, as well as the live daily shows every week day at 5:19 pm.

    But, and we're not ashamed to say it, we need your help. Big time. We need to help you feel better about your life (maybe?) by helping you share the most cringesome moments of your life (awkward) with the whole entire world (funny) on BBC Two (what were the BBC thinking?).

    So, what we're after is an email telling us about your most shameful moment. Then, if it makes us wee a bit with laughter, we'll animate it and put it on TV. So, if you have any photos for the story - even if it's just one of you - you could send that too.

  • Never-before-seen-stuff-for-you-to­-watch

    Ello ello

    It's been a while since we've updated - Barber's been on the Switch Road Trip with Vicki (which looked amazing - who was there?) and everyone else has been doing a mixture of tidying (woo), idea-making (woo) and working on new drama The Cut (woo).

    BUT if you're getting a bit bored of 5:19 classic shows (whaaaat?!) and want some fresh stuff - now is the time to tune in. We had a new Temper Trap performance the other day (brilliant), and in the run-up to our re-start in September, we've got loads of never-before-seen interviews and performances to throw in the mix.

    So watch out for new stuff with DaVinChe, Mission District, The Blizzards, Alexisonfire, The Virgins, Esser and You Me At Six.

    Coming up today at 5:19 - extra interview tapas from Wireless fest with Chipmunk, Ironik, Tinie Tempah, Black And White Years and N-Dubz! BIG.

    We still want any ideas you'd like to see in the new show and any suggestions for guests we should get in. If there's a new band you think is amazing, WE WANT TO KNOW. Or someone offa the world of fame that you want to nestled on our sofa, speak now or forever hold your peas. Yes yes o yay.
