Too many young people have been stabbed or killed by knives. Knives are dangerous weapons. Fact. These injuries and deaths are so avoidable and we want to do something to help.

Back in April a group of 18 of us got together to work out a way to combat knife use on the street. We all met for a weekend of creative brainstorming, and advertising and communications agencies were there to help develop our ideas into an advertising campaign which would speak out to other young people. Here you can check out what these ideas became, and see what you can do to make a difference.

  • Congrates to Nathan


    We have to all give a huge big up to Nathan Storey who won the ‘Young Hero’ award at the Spirit Of London Awards. Nathan was rewarded for his hard work and commitment for change in his local community and help on our campaign. So well done Nathan! He was presented his award by London Mayor Boris Johnson and was followed on stage by London Legend Michael Caine ! It was a star-studied night with the likes of Diversity, JLS, Alexander Burke performing and many more. Check out the pics and see what we got up to!!!

    It was the 1xtra Live event this week in Sheffield and it was full with the biggest stars of 2009, with the likes of Tinchy Stryder, Sugababes, Chipmunk, N-Dubz, Jay Sean, Dizzee Rascal and more. You can check out the 1xtra website to see their photos and videos of the night. Our very own Freestyle King, Lil Dreadz was down at the event and got to meet his favourite idols. Lil Dreadz was back stage and will be giving us a full report on all the backstage gossip.
