This week I have to talk THE CITY first.

I remember last season and I never quite got what I wanted from Whit and her friends – it wasn’t quite THE HILLS but it wasn’t quite as good as or better either, but now this season I am in my element.

We are finally seeing Whitney sparkle as a designer. She came in with her designs and went to show Kelly, now that in itself is a big step – I think I’d be terrified of interviewing Kelly, in case she told me I was asking the wrong questions so for Whit to go in to show Kell her designs is intense.

In this episode, I did not appreciate Roxy’s interference nor did I appreciate the fact that she told Whit that one of the designs was like a couch! That is not very constructive or supportive. Show some tact Roxy.

I do, however, agree with Kelly for getting snappish with the Portster for listening to Roxy, a girl who has only just recently returned to her life and someone who has been in fashion for about ten minutes.

Did anyone else notice the look on Sammie’s face when Roxy suggested arranging a meeting for Whit? I feel a confrontation coming on.

As for Olivia, I am glad she finally got to shine and do well in a task and I also kind of got some satisfaction out of the fact that Erin did not look impressed because she was impressed with Olivia. What do you all think about Erin, is she being too tough? I mean at the end of the day Olivia’s primary job is the show and ELLE comes second right?

Meanwhile in L.A. the high school attitudes continue...

I am very disappointed in K-Cav. I have always found Audrina a bit of a wet lettuce, running back to Justin, accusing my BFF Lauren of ‘hooking up’ with him and ignoring EVERYBODY who tells him that he is a moron, who makes her look like a moron – but I kind of got used to being let down by her. So when K-Cav came on the scene, I thought “mwhahaha your turn JB”... I was wrong. History is repeating itself. K-Cav takes over from Lauren as reality Queen Bee (well kind of) and JB treats another girl like poop by playing his mind games.
Brody was ‘vanilla’?? Do we believe this?

And can I also say I am not loving how the bartender has found her way into the cast – she’s a strange one and is taking the glamour out of THE HILLS.

And Audrina is getting on my nerves – why would she date Justin’s best friend Derek? And where did Stephie get her common sense from? She used to have none! But I like it. And have they both had their lips done?

I really wanted to go to Brody’s birthday party, it looked super fun and I loved that Brody’s mum loved Kristin more than Jayde. She is a whining little thing isn’t she? I mean why not just go to the after party? It is his birthday – crack a smile, maybe even laugh.

I can’t even comment on Drina and Derek’s date... BORING.

This season, I love the Speidi and Enzo situation – I can’t understand where he came from? I know next door, but who is that friendly? I mean I am but it is strange, although I love that Enzo knows the code to get into their house.

Now Charlie has the same highlights as Spencer – another relation?

I do love Heidi, her crazy eyes and her baby talk!

So my question this week – who has Whit’s best interests at heart – Roxy or Sammy?

Okay, so I am starting to feel like that Laguna Biatch isn’t so bad. I mean she did reach out to Audrina but then when K-Cav and strange bartender girl (what do we think of her btw?) discussed what a fight between those two would be like – I was scared once more.
Is anyone else finding Audrina uber wet and uber boring? She ditches JB and then complains that K-Cav goes on a date with him – but K-Cav and Drina aren’t even chums so there is no code to break, am I right?

And as for Speidi, I feel like I am betraying my future BFF Lauren but I am finding them really funny.

Spencer: “This is Spencer’s smartest comment right here” – he is one for the strangest compliments.

LO, she is now LO – this pleases me not Lauren’s friend, not Audrina’s friend; she is LO again. I hope this means we are going to see much more of her but I was still wondering what you guys think of Loey? Do we love her again? I found her very diplomatic at her lunch with Kristin and surprisingly kept her opinions to herself.

But poor miss ‘you mess with me, I mess with you’ – oh Cavallari, we are no longer in LB; in THE HILLS these girls can handle themselves and I can see war brewing.

“Who’s going?”

“You guys with me – what I’m single” – Oh Stephie – these are the comments you expect from me!! But I blumming love it and then when she finds out the band is made up at girls she is completely against it – much needed humour me thinks and how many of us out there are relating to this?

AND INTRODUCING MY NEW FAVOURITE CAST MEMBER AND NEW STAR OF THE SHOW – Enzo. But considering Heidi is the one wanting the children, she seemed less interested in watching him play than Spencer, now named Spender did.

But I really want to send Heidi, not Spencer, just Heidi to a shrink – she has lost it. Compared to Season 1 Heidi, she is a loony.

And finally, the smooch!! They finally hooked up – I can feel the drama and the war!! These are very exciting times – plus K-Cav has made JB look HOT!! So she gets points for trying
And as for Jade, she can pipe down – I don’t like her. You are one miserable mush
And as for THE CITY.

WHY IS WHITNEY NOT NARRATING?? That’s my favourite bit – so I thought I’d write my own bit for that:

“Previously, on THE CITY, my old feisty friend from LA came out to join me in New York. Kelly questioned if Roxy was a girl I could trust. And as Roxy through a party at my new apartment, I was starting to wonder if working and living together was such a good idea. Meanwhile, Olivia started her new position at ELLE magazine. And already clashed with her new colleague, Erin. But Roxy and Olivia were both going to find their new positions tough to handle.”

There, I feel better now.

I think Erin running to Joe at the first sign of trouble was just ludicrous – this woman so supposed to be the Director of PR – get a backbone dude and I really do feel for Olivia, she can’t put a foot right and this is only 2 minutes into the episode.

I loved Roxy’s first impression of the office “it’s like robots” – that’s how I first felt when I moved from Manchester to London and you really do have to be like “HELLO, TALK TO ME PLEASE” – must be over-crowded cities.

And then the Roxster is not afraid of Kelly, oh my gosh – how can you not be!!

I loved the whole car situation and the Cutrone being a little snobby about Fords – my friend has a Ford so I am taking that personally – if I ever get to interview the PR boss my first q will be “What’s wrong with Fords?” Anyway back to semi-reality.

And I am still feeling sorry for Olivia – she tries to have an idea, it gets knocked down and Erin smirks. That’s just mean.

The minutes in the car were my favourite in the episode. I have always said I would never drive in London and never, ever, ever in NYC – so Roxy gets some Stephen says points today.

After months of waiting the new episodes of THE HILLS arrived.

Now, I was hoping to be wittier than this to discuss the first scene but KRISTIN PUNCHED LAUREN?!?!? WTF!! And poor naive Audrina – going to give K-Cav the benefit of the doubt – that is my second WTF. Does that girl ever learn? She trusts everyone and the one person she ever didn’t trust was my future BFF Lauren and once again straight talking Loey and the not so Prattish Stephanie had K-Cavs card marked straight away – don’t befriend the spunky one, be civil and avoid to much contact; kind of like the sun.

The pool party now that was chaos wasn’t it? JB ignores Audrina, yet Audrina dumped his sorry ass and wants to be acknowledged and then K-Cav gets the blame. It got terribly confusing and why did Stephie get involved?

I did however love the fact that Audrina finally grew a pair (no pun intended) and got in K-Cav’s face but if the terrifying Laguna Biatch yelled at me like that I would run off and join Whitney in THE CITY.

And over to Speidi land – where the two Pratts are looking for a new marital home and once again they have two different ideas on the matter.

Heidi wants a white picket fence and a baby – NO BABIES FOR THOSE TWO ANYTIME SOON PLEASE!! Although I am finding her quite humorous in this situation considering Spencer wants the party house that is so close to the HOLLYWOOD sign you can almost touch it.

Plus I love Spencer at the mo – I will quickly move on before you all yell at me.

Finally JB and K-Cav dating – I cannot even imagine the chaos that is going to cause but let’s wait and see as THE HILLS continues every Sunday at 8pm MTV ONE...

BUT

Let’s not forget THE CITY and its feisty new cast – original members are in place Whitney and Olivia but they are now joined by Whitney’s feisty friend Roxy and Olivia’s new co-worker a.k.a scary lady, Erin.

Both Whitney and Olivia have left DVF and Whit has returned to Mrs PR, Kelly Cutrone, who is letting the Portster work less hours so that she can work on her clothing line – which excites me as the MTV peeps are finally letting us see some of their lives outside the show.

New girl Roxy, so far, so good – well for my viewing entertainment – she is definitely going to bring the drama that was lacking last season. She has already thrown a party by sending out a mass text, claiming that she didn’t send out a mass text, faced the Cutrone, had the police round and made a statement that actually shocked me – “Whitney is fashion, which I find shocking.” Come on missy, don’t hold back – tell us more about Whit pre-MTV.

Then there is new co-worker Erin, who I am not sure about. What are your views? I thought that she is not giving Olivia a chance at all but then Olivia yelled at her (quite inappropriately) while that strange intern just pouted A LOT and then the two carried on the drama whilst exciting the room and taking off their microphones this is the kind of real deal drama that I love and I kind of love that this Erin lady is being very real and not holding back...

But then I feel so bad for Olivia because I think she really is a nice girl. I think she automatically gets a hard time because of her background but I don’t think she means to cause any offence – just because she is compared to Blair Waldorf does not make it true and you can see in her eyes that she genuinely is upset. Plus she has nice outfits.

And Whitney, as goofy as ever and bedazzling plants... at least she’ll have some drama when she hosts her fashion show. But tbh, I prefer it when Whit is drama-less – it makes her more real, ore relatable and that is the reason we love her. And beside, when her hear breaks, it breaks mine.
