Hope you’ve had good month? Well it’s pretty much officially autumn here in the UK judging by this week’s weather, I’ve conceded to the fact that summers over...well I’m still holding out for perhaps one more run of sun in London but not getting my hopes up to be honest.

Last month there was a competition to win copies of the cd release. The answer to the question was ‘O Lord’ and pretty much everyone got it correct (need to make it harder next time

I’m back in the studio with Judge Jules this month to finalise our track together plus begin work on a new project, due to the summer DJ commitments time was against us to get it locked down but I’ll get a preview up soon as promised. I’ve just completed new collaboration with Sunny Lax called ‘The Wish’ you can hear a small exclusive clip here http://bit.ly/cOqWq I’m also working on a new single with Southampton base duo U4IC DJs under our new artist name NRapture which we’ll be showcasing live in October at the SoundProj-x party Portsmouth. Next month I’ll be putting clips of some of the work in progress towards the artist albums I’m currently writing.

Hi, hope you’re doing ok!

Right as the weathers thoroughly crap in the Uk we’ll move swiftly on from any weather based subject (and further more if you’re going on holiday or its hot and sunny where you are, I don’t want to hear it

I mentioned last month that I’ve been actively writing in a new London based dance project. For the most part the music will be firmly based in the dance genre but this won’t be rigid due to the diversity of the sound. I thought I’d share a small clip of what’s to come but really interested to hear your thoughts.

The new Corderoy single ‘Kyrie’ is getting some astonishing feedback and the support is continuing to grow. If you’ve still yet to hear it do check out this month’s mix below, the official release date is the 24th August 2009 on Mondo Records. Hey!

I got a bit of a telling off last month when I mentioned the weather and right afterwards it went total crap in the Uk, so with that in mind I’ll brush over any comments on how bloody hot it is this month

A few bits to mention but I’ll keep it brief.

Had a few successful studio sessions with Judge Jules since last month and our new track is finally nearing completion. We’ve got a bit more road testing to do on it so we can apply the final tweaks but I’ll be able to give you first listen right here next month!

The new Corderoy single ‘Kyrie’ has been pushed back a little (due to label politics) but all systems are now go and all the remixes are in! Over the next couple of weeks the initial promo run will begin finally, hopefully it will start generating some support from the key names as the feedback so far on the record has been really positive so thank you.

My collaboration track with U4IC DJ’s entitled ‘Big Top’ is currently being smashed by lot of the major players and seems to be going down really well around the globe, its due to be released on the 7th of July so please if you can buy a copy (or 12) if you get time … If you haven’t heard it yet visit the Corderoy myspace to listen.

You may of heard the classic anthem ‘Angelic – It’s My Turn’ is having a re release this summer on Mondo Records, the new release will feature newly sung vocals of the ever talented Amanda O'Riordan (Mrs Judge Jules) and will be packed with brand new mixes! You can check out the Corderoy remix in this month Dj Mix (link down below) shit or good let me know

Finally to round up, the Pulsar remix is now finished and will be coming out on Armada Records over the next couple of months. I’m currently working on a new remix for Steve Birch on his Space Out Recordings label as well as the two artist albums I mentioned last month which will be due towards the end of the summer. Aside from this I’m still writing for a London based dance / rock act which I’ll let you all know about soon but not just yet.
