Every $40 you raise helps to feed and care for 5 children for 1 month.
The Global Food Crisis is into its second year... and you probably didn't even know it.
In the past year, over 100 million more people have been affected by a food crisis. Reckon that means no ice cream in the freezer? Think again!
For many it means just one small meal a day. Sometimes it means no breakfast, no lunch, no snacks, no drinks, no dinner. Nada, nothing, nought.
Children are suffering as families and whole communities struggle to feed themselves.

We're off to Cambodia
Hey everyone,
We're in Cambodia over the next week for the 2009 40 Hour Famine Study Tour with our Youth Ambassadors: Ashlee, Cory, Jesse, Joseph, Jocelyn, Lennon and Naomi.
We'll be meeting people in Phnom Penh and Battambang who are seriously hungry... wish us luck. We'll be back on Sunday, Jan 25.
If you would like to follow our progress, keep an eye on our status updates. We'll be posting some stories wehn we return.

i did it.. no eating for 40hrs at school with people teasing me with there food and my friends eating the luch.. it was realy hard but i did it and no1 thourt i would be able to

I'm having sooo much trouble not speaking. I almost go to speak then remember and grab my notebook.
Its frustrating.

All my friends are doing it too, two are giving up speaking, one furniture + tech, and one is doing the food famine
