- Wasted are a 5 piece classic rock and soul band singing all over the county. There are 5 brilliant artists in this band: Tony Hudson- Lead Singer, Peter Bowles- Lead Guitarist and Vocals, Brian Whitby- Drums, Steve House - Keyboards and Vocals and Mick Longman - Bass Guitar and Vocals.
Where It All Started ?!?
Pete and Brian Met many years ago as teenagers, when a band called Billy Whizz was formed. This was a three peace rock band. After this Pete and Brian then joined a band called Curly a rock/pop band.
Mick mean while had been playing in professional bands touring the UK in a Van.
Steve was playing with other local bands and working on his own project No Hiding Place (Playing much original material written by Steve).
Tony was still yet to be born at this time.
Steve, Mick Brian and Pete subsequently have played together in many guises, sometimes Duo, Trio or band work. The foundation of the material has always been Rock/blues/Soul orientated.
Some of the bands that we played with at varying times were, The Scratch Band (London). Road Island Red, Misty, The Professionals, There's no Answer, NHP and Spiral.
More recently Pete met Tony a Solo singing artist who had no band experience. Pete thought that Tony could well fit in well in a Live band environment.
Pete, Steve and Brian did some gigs with Tony that went well. We still hadn't got a regular Bass player until Mick came along.
We've been together ever since and now we are continuing to develop the set and presentation.
