A DRINK FOR A PENNY ON YOUR BIRTHDAY! (Free cocktail if it's your 18th) We have everything from cask conditioned ales (we're in the Good Beer Guide!) to Cocktail List including jugs and layered drinks, Lots of wines, decent malt whisky range, all the usual drinks and a few more besides, FREE HOUSE - so plenty draught options. I've got a 12ft screen & 3 TV's - come watch football with me!! (No Numpties Please)
Pool table, darts board, Forfar's ONLY fussball table, board games aplenty, Wii nights, Quiz Nights and bus trips. Pub Football Team (See Ploo Till I Die <MONTHEPLOO> below), Pool Team and Dominoes team. We actively support Forfar Athletic FC and sponsor Forfar Albion JFC with post match hospitality. More teams wanted.

Lunches everyday, evening meals Thursday and Friday, food all day Saturday and Sunday. High Teas. Bus Party Catering.

Use our function room for anything and everything! Birthdays, engagements, weddings (Get married in the Plough!), quiz nights, bingo, race nights, meetings large and small, book fair, table top sales, funeral teas, christening parties, christmas nights out............

The Plough, from 23rd December to 2nd January. :D

    Not much of a Mystery Tour Bus Trip
    An afternoon of drinks, games, refreshments & singing
    Saturday 14th November 2009
    Day commences with bacon rolls at 10.30am
    Depart 11am. New customers welcome
    £20 in advance covers bacon roll, 1st drink, coach all day, lunch, games, dinner, prizes and entertainment! (Does not include entry to nearby football match to which some may be attending)

    Indoor 'It's a Knockout' games

    Home town v Plough v East Stirlingshire supporters

    competative nonsense indoors from pool to pie eating, pub quiz to party games
    Followed by Karaoke (proper hired in one this time) from 5pm. Return expected 7.30pm
    Initial numbers suggests a double-decker may be required!

    A free drink, dancing and singing (of a kind)

    Ultimate proof that we're game for anything...............Morris Dancing demo tomorrow (Tuesday) from 8pm, followed by mucho singing in the bar till 11pm. I'll buy a drink for all who show! Ian :D (Audience participation welcomed to both)

      I love the Plough and all the staff are so friendly!
      They cater for really great events and hold many charity events which always benefit the charity concerened, no fees are usually taken, which is great as it raises more for the charity!!!!
