- The Big Tent is Scotland's largest environmental festival. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Falkland Estate, Palace and village it champions the work of the environmental movement. There's a full range of activities - world and folk music, theatre, dance, exhibitions, speakers, great food and much more. Tickets will go on sale soon. There will be camping, weekend and day tickets available.

First time at big tent can i come for weekend but arrive on the sat to put up tent or do we need to come on the fri. any help with be great thanks.
another first timer here, canny wait!! we will be bringing our three year old with us and i was just wondering what the campsite is like/how busy is it? will there be plenty of other kids for her to play with at night? etc xxxx
Coming to Big Tent for first time, really looking forward to it! Any advice for us newbies..? Like when does the campsite open and can we bring drink into it for a wee after hours one...? x

can anyone tell me if the camp site opens on the friday night for setting up tents?
I am counting down the days until i pull that high Vis vest on over shoulders. Fingers crossed weather is as good as last year.....i'll be ther either way!!! wooooo hoooo big tent!!!

Cant wait till saturday! We considered camping, but since we only live on the other side of the hill it seemed a bit mad to do so :p

I'm upset that this is on the same weekend as Wickerman, as that's where I'll be :-( This looks awesome too. I had a great time two years ago talking to Fruitbat about cycling in a city, and drinking too much of all that bear before cycling home to Cupar.
