About Me

Tagline
Can I See You?
Me, Myself, and I
Atomic Robokid started life as a protoype from one man's obsession with arcade cabinets and electronic music, fuelled by a love of chip-tunes and the EBM industrial scene. Ideas amassed, congealed in the depths of a hard drive as the scaffolding for latent releases were constructed. Punctate bodies of music surfaced sporadically, including the viral spread of a remix for noise-punks Motormark under the guise of Grep Con One, but a backlog of Nathan’s half-built monsters began to clog the works. Enter James, scene-dissident and longest serving member of the Elizium tag-team DJ duo, eager to make something new in a stagnating genre. Fusing together their ideas and (dis)passions, the pair formed the creative backbone of Atomic Robokid and created a fully-formed body of music that had yet to find a voice. Stalwart of the Scottish metal scene, Dave Beattie, generously donated his lungs to something other than hardcore screaming, and every aspect of the Robokid fell in to place.

Dave, Dave, Dave. Surely you mean to say,

"Buy this music... or I'll fucking kill you!"

It's slighly more persuasive, specially if you're holding a crowbar at the same time.

    Buy our music....

(This hypnotic suggestion was brought to you by Dave, your local, friendly stalwart of the scottish metal scene ;-)
