Me, Myself, and I
The Glasgow Hunt is a city-wide treasure hunt game where teams and individuals solve a series of clues in order to be the first to uncover the location of the treasure. The cost to register a team is £20 and each team can have between one and five registered members. To begin, each team will be given a set of clues which will hint at various locations in and around the city. As teams solve these clues they will receive more clues to continue the hunt. The first team to reach the final location will win!

Hunt: 2

  • HUNT INFO

    Glasgow Hunt is THIS SUNDAY!

Be at The Quay by 11.30!

Bring a car (with petrol), a street map or sat nav, a mobile phone with credit, a calculator (if your mobile doesn't have a calculator feature), food (such as a packed lunch), drinks (such as bottles of water)!

Dress warm! Weather forecast is dry but it may be cold. In the event of bad weather, the event will be postponed. I will inform you via text in the morning if the event is cancelled.

I will be taking photos and supplying cameras so that you can take photos of your team during the event at various clue locations. You will be required to take a number of photos to qualify for the prize.

Final prize money will be confirmed when all teams have registered. Less than 5 teams, 1st prize is £100. 5 to 10 teams, 1st prize is £150. 10 to 15 teams, 1st prize is £200. More than 15 teams, 1st prize is £250. In all cases, 2nd prize is 20% of 1st prize.

    Ah.....fuck!!!!

Gutted I missed it!!! Instead, around the time of it beginning, I visited every bevy shop in the west end trying to get them to ditch the 12.30 law....what a fuckin moronic law. Each time "eh...let me see...just a litre of vodka please" I won in the end though, waited the fucker out and I was champion!!!

Anyways Michael my good man, definitely give me a shout if any other antics of this sort happen!

Current weather forecast looks like it might be quite good weather on this day ( http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/ukweath... ). If it is a bad day for rain then we can leave it for a few weeks.

This format will split the teams up and spread them out at the start of the hunt as each team can solve each clue in any order. To further spread out the teams, when each team arrives at each location, they must spend some time searching for the answer to the question. Any comments or suggestions on the format so far?

I'm close to finalising the format of the hunt. Here is an example of how the first set of clues will work: http://www.glasgowhunt.com/Glasgow%2...

Right, here's the thing....im totally in n all that but I do have a question, it is a lil bit of a sensitive issue. Two of the members on my forecasted team are mentally retarded. Yes, that's right, mentally retarded! Now, I have just been scanning their disability benefits and looks like it won't stretch to covering their portion of our teams(W & the 2 tard bandits) fee. Is there any allowances that could be made?...remember, its not their fault.

    p.s.

Im up for it either way!!!!!!
