The King Blues are one of the UK punk underground’s best loved bands, and they’re now primed for an assault on the wider world having signed to new label Field Recordings.
The band have a commitment to politics and resistance culture, and are vocal supporters of anti-racism and anti-capitalism. Though they have played most of the UK’s major rock festivals they are just likely to be seen playing Zapatista benefit gigs, squat shows and Love Music Hate Racism festivals as they are the more traditional touring circuit. They do however refuse to rigidly define their politics, instead pooling individual beliefs for a wider common goal.

Go Squat!
Are you being squeezed out by ridiculously high rents and urban
gentrification? Tired of waiting for a disinterested government to come to
your assistance? Fed up with sleeping in parks/bus shelters/friend's
living room floors? Want to create and control your own living space? Take
matters into your own hands - go squat!
**** SQUATTING IS STILL LEGAL AND NECESSARY!****
We want you to be involved. The more people the better this will be for
all of us. We are stronger if we organise together, if we can create our
own solutions to the housing crisis and develop stronger communities to
house ourselves in the future.
We plan to open a large residential squat in North East London, with the
aim to prove that squatting can be a safe and secure way for all kinds of
people to house themselves. Don't worry if you have never squatted before,
we will all develop and share skills togather.
We are gathering at the Finsbury Park Station gate of Finsbury Park at
midday (12pm) on Saturday the 7th of November and from there we will be
moving into our new homes!
If you would like to be involved, either to help out practically or for a
