Indeed, his sales caught the eye and ear of Cash Money CEO Ronald "Slim" Williams, who instantly saw Jay's worldwide appeal and potential and signed him to a multi album, Multi Million dollar recording Contract.

In this way, Jay Sean became more than a singer and more than a recording artist. By sticking to his guns and belief in himself, and by not compromising his art, he rose above the music industry and became the poster child for those of us who want to do things our own way, regardless of the difficulties that might face us.
