- The Millennium Forum is the largest purpose built theatre, exhibition and conference centre in the whole of Ireland. Only recently opened in 2001, it already offers a large variety of first class community entertainment, arts and cultural events at local, provincial, national and international levels. It includes a spectacular mix of Drama, Musicals, Comedy, Films, Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Opera, Pantomime, Classical and Popular Music, Children’s shows and Festivals.

- Come with us to old Peking where the evil sorcerer, Abanazar, seeks the magic lamp to bring him untold wealth and power. Can Aladdin save the day? Will Wishee Washee and the Genie of the Lamp help our hero? Will Princess Jasmine find the boy of her dreams? Will Widow Twankey finally wear something that doesn’t look like an explosion in a paint factory?

Millennium Forum Issues Call for Young People!
Young people throughout Derry City and beyond are encouraged to join the Millennium Forum’s new Youth Mailing List to keep them up-to-date with forthcoming auditions, events, festivals and workshops taking place in 2009.
This year will see new exciting youth projects taking place at the Millennium Forum and in order to make these events as accessible as possible to those aged from their teens to their early twenties, we want you to sign up to our database so we can keep you informed of all future happenings.
We want to hear from you if you are 12 – 21 years of age, are interested in behind the scenes of the stage or onstage, in dancing, singing, acting, music and all other areas of the arts. Joining our mailing list is simple. You can log onto www.millenniumforum.co.uk and complete your details online.
