"Teenage Casket Company, hailing from the U.K., is easily one of the world's greatest unsigned bands today. The band outright flogs you with Butch Walker-type catchy hooks. Their songs are punk-edged, pop-driven, and above all else, they are great musicians and songwriters. Their energy is from the '80s -- when bands like Motley Crue, Vain, Firehouse, and Ratt ruled the earth -- but they own a modern sound. Big things are going to happen for Teenage Casket Company; it's all just a matter of time. So if you haven't heard them yet, but are in love with Arena Rock with a punk edge, major attitude, snarky and humorous lyrics all coupled with brilliant pop rock sensibilities ...Teenage Casket Company is your band"

Jamie Delerict leaving Teenage Casket Company
Taken from www.myspace.com/teenagecasketcompany and the official press release:
"I’ll try to keep this short and sweet because at the end of the day, it’s only rock n roll and I’m pretty confident that the sun will still come up tomorrow after you’re done reading this.
Being in a band is a lot like being married. You spend most of your time together, you experience lots of highs and lows and from time to time you argue. Sometimes though, unfortunately the bad ends up outweighing the good and the only thing left to do is to get a divorce. (Trust me, I have first hand experience in these matters.) The sex (playing live?!) may still be good, but the rest of the relationship is beyond repair and deep down, you know that it’s time to turn the page in your life and start a new chapter.
So it is with a heavy heart, that I’ve decided to leave Teenage Casket Company. The band I started back in late 2003 and the band I got tattooed on my arm in 2004. I’ve had some fantastic times and some rough times too, but I regret nothing. Even though the band has only seemingly been part-time since 2007, it’s still been a big part of my life and I can assure you that it’s a major wrench to let it go. But situations change and people change too. But of course, life goes on and I’ve taken the tough decision to move on too. I had wanted to stretch out my involvement with TCC until at least Christmas, but unfortunately I can no longer do that. So my farewell to the Coffin Kids will be on Sunday September 27th at The Vic Inn in Derby. I’m not going to shill like crazy for this gig and make a big deal about it, but if you’ve ever cared about TCC, then it’d be great to see you there. Let’s make it a night to remember baby.
Whatever the guys decide to do, I wish them well. And it goes without saying that you’ll still be able to catch me treading the boards with The Dangerfields, so please, shed no tears for me! Thanks to all the fans and my friends worldwide from the bottom of my heart. And may the music of TCC live on forever.
"Is this the beginning of the end, or the end of the beginning?"
Give thanks, stay positive.
Jamie Delerict - 9th September 2009"
Bassist Laney74 commented "This is a band with huge personalities and none bigger than Jamie's! His presence within the band will be very much missed both on and off stage and it would be impossible to replace. This means for sure that the next chapter of the band will no doubt be a very different one."
The remaining members of TEENAGE CASKET COMPANY - vocalist / guitarist Rob Wylde, bassist Laney74 and drummer Spike plan to continue working on new material with two new songs planned for download release towards the end of 2009 / early 2010. The band wish Jamie the very best in his future plans and thank everyone for the continued support that TCC receives.1 Comment 49 days

Rob Wylde's 'Dial It Up' Guitar For Sale
Rob is selling one of his guitars.
It's a Fender Squire 1972 Custom Telecaster. He used it to record the entire TCC album "Dial It Up" and played it live on all their shows / tours from 2004-2006.

Hi there, we’ve come across your profile, and as you seem to be an unsigned band, we think you might be interested in Last Band Standing.
Fashion company Nicholas Deakins has launched the UK’s greatest competition for unsigned bands. The national competition is being judged by fashion and music heavyweights and the winner gets THE ‘big break’.
Simply go to www.lastbandstanding.co.uk now to sign up and upload your profile and mp3 for your chance to win.
This is the big break every band wants; a chance to record a single in a major London studio with a well known record producer, having it released nationally, supporting massive bands at gigs and festivals throughout 2009, getting decked out in Nicholas Deakins gear, having a professional photo shoot and ads in national magazines and much, much more. Most of all, you will get heard!!! So get uploading now and you could be the Last Band Standing!
Thanks a lot – Amy at Last Band Standing
