Cork Brain Tumour Support Group
All the profits of the CD go to the Cork brain tumour support group
The Cork Brain Tumor Support Group was founded in March 2002 for patients who have brain tumors and their families or guardians ect.
They meet once a month for chemo therapy in the Cork University hospital at 19:30. They also have meetings to offer emotional support to the patients with brain tumors and their families.
They often get in speakers (Doctors) who talk to them about Brain Tumors and Chemo Therapy. Their meetings are very informal and comfortable so that the patients feel safe. The patients have a liaison that contact if they need to talk about anything.
The Cork Brain Tumor Support Group is still fundraising for better equipment in the Chemo Therapy ward.
The fundraising is half done and most of it is raised from marathons and other sporting events.
The Cancer helpline is for emotional support and advice.

The Artists
Daniel Murray was born on the 13th of March 1990. He lives in Greystones Co. Wicklow but goes to school in Glenstal Abbey in Limerick. Daniel began writing September 2006 and his main inspiration comes from bands such as Muse, Beirut and Jeff Buckley. Daniel plays guitar and sings he has been playing guitar for 6 years now. Daniel hopes to bring out his album some time in the near future.
Max Doyle was born on the 23/06/92. Now 15 he Lives lives in Kinsale, a seaside town in the South West of Cork. Max started writing his own music during the 2007 summer inspired by his idols Louis Armstrong, Ray Charles and Jerry Lee-Lewis. Max plays the Piano, Guitar and he sings. In the future he aims to go to LAMDA (London Academy for Music and Dramatic Arts.)
Nathan Johnson is 13 and from Mullingar in Co Westmeath. A town situated in the centre of Ireland. "The Blizzards" a new band who have released two singles come from Mullingar as well as Nathan. Nathan began writing when he was only 12. At first he was inspired by Greenday but his style of music changed gradually to the likes of Jack Johnson and Maroon 5. Nathan mainly plays guitar and sings but he also plays the drums.
James O Brien Moran was born on the 15th of May in 1989.He lives in Tramore in Co. Waterford beside the sea.His influences are Nick drake, Arcade Fire and The Pixies which inspired him to start writing music at the age of 14. James plays Guitar and sings and is putting together his first album .
