- The Common Room opened on 1st April 2005, situated on lower scotch street, its Dungannon's no1 live music bar! It boast its own top of the range PA System and is a place where all can come and have a truly great night!
Friday and Saturdays with bands of many genres including, Rock, Blues, Punk, Ska, Indie, Alternative, Acoustic etc. you are guaranteed to here some fantastic live music!!!
Sundays Unplugged - Acoustic Open Mic Night - Singers, songwriters, poets and musicians all welcome!! Own Instruments required!

Battle of the Bands
Battle of the Bands returns for its third year! Back in its original home, the Common Room Battle of the Bands promises to be a more exciting and enduring competition.
This year the stakes have been raised with stricter judges, hotter competition and a total prize fund of 2500!
Bands from all over and of all genres are welcome to compete in Dungannon's biggest event of the year!
The Common Room continue to produce live bands every weekend and have proven to be a great venue for up and coming talent to have their music heard, and be enjoyed by their fans alike. They also boast an in-house PA System which will give a quality sound to each band.
Apologies to those already entered and waiting to begin,ther was a delay due to unforseen events that have occurred within The Common Room.
The competition is set to start soon and is still open for entrants, so if you thinkyou have the talent to be crowned Battle of the Bands winners 2008 and claim that cash prize, call into The Common Room for an application form or alternatively write to The Common Room Bar & Lounge, 80 Scotch Street, Dungannon, Bt70 1BJ and one will be sent to you!

New Album listening Party
We are having a listening party for New Dawn Evolution in Jaggers Dungannon on Friday the 27th of March and you are all invited!! The CD is going on at 9:30 sharp so if you'd like to hear what we've been doing for the last year come early.
Following this CD play there will be Rockeoke with the house band, its gonna be a great nights craic!!
