- Tina Turbo are a three piece instrumental group from the west coast of Ireland. They have been active for about a year and have a couple of gigs under their belts now, including playing with Ten Past Seven, Vox Populi, Towers, We Should Be Dead, The Fewer The Better and Seadog, to name but a few!
The lads, who include two brothers on guitars (not the Gallaghers) and a ginger drummer with a short fuse, are influenced by all sorts of gruff men wiith varying degrees of facial hair and moody expression/loud amps-think Isis, Neurosis, Mare, Pelican and any shower of bastards who've had any sort of association with the Hydrahead and Relapse labels and you might be close. Though there is no music onsite as of yet the lads will knock out a demo cd that will prove Ireland is not just home to short lived bands with skinny jeans and hard to maintain hair (Director, Delorentos or any of those other Hot Press knobs).Watch this space...
