  • NHL is fast approaching

    Hi all

    Well the NHL is fast approaching, and by the looks of the polls, Canterbury is going to win both Mens and Womens titles!

    Of course all the secondary school tournaments are on this week so good luck to all those people. Actually you are probably all away right now so won't read this til after the tournaments finished....oh well

    Thats all for now. Back to work!

  • Black Sticks Olympics Campaigns are over

    Well after nearly two weeks, a couple of heart breaking moments, and not so many goals, and not nearly enough wins it's over.

    The Black Sticks Men have finished a credible 7th, while the women...well...everybody knows where they finished. No wins, no draws...nothing.
    But they both got to the Olympics which is an acheivement in itself.

    Enough about that....bring on the NHL!

      Just incase anyone is interested. The new season of the European Hockey League (EHL) has begun.

      http://www.ehlhockey.tv/ is the homepage of the competition, also has a fair number of highlight videos etc.

      No coverage to my knowledge is shown in New Zealand, I guess playing even a few selected matches would mean Sky TV wouldn't be able to show countless of every rugby match played - because we all know its that only sport out there and you haven't really watched a rugby match till you've seen the replay 4 times over. :Z :Z :Z
