- Though this talented singer/songwriter/guitarist had been writing songs since the age of 15, it was not until the fall of 2003 that Ryan released his first album Bonfire . Shortly after its release, he became a regular act on the live music scene in Bloomington, IN while attending Indiana University. During his college years, Ryan made a name for himself performing at venues such as the historic Bluebird Nightclub and Buskirk-Chumley Theater in Bloomington, acquiring devoted fans that are now spread across the midwest. Since then, Ryan has maintained a heavy presence within the Indiana music scene, performing weekly all around the state and neighboring areas. In 2005, he formed the band Griffy Rhodes. After touring Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio, the band released their first album Somthing Like The Truth in 2006. They have since then disbanded, but Ryan has sustained himself as a solo artist, performing weekly on the Indianapolis music circuit and surrounding areas.
